About The Position

Curtis Power Solutions, a subsidiary of Indel Power Group, has an opening for an Application Support Engineer at our location in Charlotte, NC. This role involves providing technical support, managing project documentation, and serving as a communication hub for internal and external partners to ensure successful project turnover from inception to close-out. The position requires understanding electrical distribution systems and power generation equipment, as well as maintaining strong customer relationships.

Requirements

Nice To Haves

• Engineering Degree preferred; Electrical or Mechanical related.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret project design documents and scope of work, enhance product knowledge of MTU and power equipment as necessary to fully understand total power solution provided.
• Initiate, coordinate, procure and assemble technical submittal documents for channel review and approval.
• Develop, modify, or procure technical drawings for onsite coordination of interconnects or conduit layouts.
• Learn and understand advanced concepts of building electrical distribution systems and how to apply power generation equipment and related technical scope of work.
• Provide technical support to Sales / Project Management Team.
• Develop, modify, or procure one-line diagrams for project designs.
• Be the communication hub for internal/external partners to guide project to a successful turnover to the end-user from inception to close-out.
• Project schedule alignment to meet customer and project expectations.
• Salesforce lead to coordinate quality up to date opportunity data.
• Weekly coordination with sales/project management team for application support and submittal duties.
• Understand and respond to customer’s sense of urgency evidenced by consistent and timely communication.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service when dealing with customers (internal & external).
• Additional Responsibilities may be assigned by management.
