The Information Technology group delivers secure, reliable technology solutions that enable DTCC to be the trusted infrastructure of the global capital markets. The team delivers high-quality information through activities that include development of essential, building infrastructure capabilities to meet client needs and implementing data standards and governance. The EAS CCS team provides enterprise-wide support for approximately 35 critical applications, including GRC and finance systems. The team is globally distributed across India, Manila, Tampa, Boston, and Dallas, and plays a key role in maintaining the reliability, stability, and availability of core business systems. As the application portfolio grows, the team is expanding its onshore support capabilities to ensure strong daytime coverage and smooth operations across all platforms. The Application Support Associate/Engineer will provide technical and operational support across this diverse application landscape by triaging incidents, troubleshooting issues, monitoring system health, and minimizing service disruptions—particularly during onshore hours. The role includes participating in on‑call rotations, performing weekend readiness checks, and partnering with engineering and development teams to maintain high service availability. In addition, this role contributes to stronger risk and control integration by proactively identifying and mitigating risks, escalating issues appropriately, and supporting application design validation through early analysis of proposed changes to ensure alignment with business requirements and improve overall system stability and quality.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Strong experience with incident management, troubleshooting, and root‑cause analysis
  • Familiarity with supporting SaaS and on‑prem applications
  • Experience participating in on‑call rotations or production support environments
  • Ability to follow structured operational processes and escalate issues appropriately
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with global technical teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Splunk, Grafana).
  • Experience supporting GRC, financial, or similar enterprise systems.
  • Familiarity with disaster recovery procedures.
  • Basic understanding of infrastructure, networking, or cloud concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Provide application support for ~35 enterprise applications across GRC, finance, and other operational systems.
  • Monitor application performance, respond to incidents, and drive timely resolution to minimize business disruptions.
  • Participate in an on‑call rotation (approximately one week every two months) to support after‑hours incidents and weekend system health checks.
  • Perform Sunday readiness checks to ensure key URLs and business systems are operational before Monday business hours.
  • Support disaster recovery activities, infrastructure changes, and planned maintenance.
  • Collaborate with Application Development, Enterprise Test Engineering, and other technical teams.
  • Log and track incidents using ServiceNow and follow established support processes.
  • Identify gaps, recurring issues, or risks and escalate appropriately.
  • Contribute to documentation, runbooks, and continuous improvement of support procedures.
