About The Position

We are seeking motivated, analytical interns to provide functional application technical support to Charles River Development (CRD) customers within the FinTech space. This role blends technology, finance, and client service, giving you exposure to real-world investment management operations. The team you will be joining is a part of Charles River Development (or CRD), that became a part of State Street in 2018. CRD helps create enterprise investment management software solutions for large institutions in the areas of institutional investment, wealth management and hedge funds. Together we have created the first open front-to-back platform - State Street Alpha, that was launched in 2019. Requirements

  • Experience with one or more structured programming languages (SQL preferred)
  • Understanding of basic system administration concepts: configuration, resource sharing, OS fundamentals
  • Relevant technical/functional coursework, academic projects, or extracurricular activities
  • Understanding of the Trade Life Cycle and System Development Life Cycle
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills, including process analysis
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities while meeting client expectations
  • Customer-focused mindset and ability to work in a team environment
  • Planning to graduate in 2027

Responsibilities

  • Responding to client requests for technical assistance
  • Diagnosing software issues and recommending appropriate solutions
  • Analyzing problems, answering product-related questions, and providing user guidance
  • Identifying, testing, and documenting workarounds for software bugs or functional gaps
  • Contributing to continued improvements of support processes and tools
  • Logging customer interactions and preparing resolution summaries
