Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field.
  • 2-5 years experience in electrical distribution, power monitoring, automation, or industrial electrical systems.
  • Basic understanding of Electrical distribution systems.
  • Basic understanding of Energy or power monitoring.
  • Basic understanding of Industrial communication protocols such as Modbus or BACnet.
  • Ability to read electrical diagrams, datasheets, and one-line drawings.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with switchgear, utilities, or electrical contractors.
  • Exposure to power monitoring, energy management, or protection systems.
  • Interest in energy transition, smart buildings, power quality.
  • Strong problem solving and logical thinking.
  • Experience supporting quotations or technical documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Support Sales and Account Managers with technical information required for quoting and customer discussions.
  • Review customer requirements, drawings, and specifications to assist in selecting appropriate products and configurations.
  • Provide product and application guidance for power and energy systems.
  • Assist with preparation of quotations, technical documentation, and compliance responses.
  • Respond to distributor, integrator, and customer technical inquiries related to product selection and basic applications.
  • Support internal and external product training sessions.
  • Assist with development of application guides, FAQs, and technical documentation.
  • Work with Technical Support to escalate complex issues when required.
  • Capture customer and field feedback to support Product Management improvements.
  • Maintain accurate technical notes within CRM/ERP systems to support opportunity tracking.
  • Ensure Occupational Health and Safety compliance with health and safety laws and regulations.
  • Follow all procedures in compliance of Accuenergy (Canada) Inc standard policy and operation regulations.
  • Any other operation-related responsibilities may be added as company continues to grow.
