About The Position

Join Allied Universal® Technology Services, a global leader in transforming the security industry. This role integrates advanced technology, including video surveillance, electronic access control, alarm monitoring, and augmented solutions, with physical security to enhance safety. The Application Specialist will be responsible for programming and setting up access control systems, Video Management (CCTV/NVR), and intrusion detection systems, along with associated supporting hardware. The position involves working closely with the installation team and providing technical expertise.

Requirements

• High school diploma, vocational diploma, or equivalency (e.g., GED)
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the physical security industry installing field devices
• Good oral and written and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to deliver product familiarization training to end-users
• Quality assurance skills; able to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness; seek ways to improve and promote quality; apply feedback to improve performance; monitor own work to ensure quality

Nice To Haves

• Ability to obtain PERC Card or active PERC Card preferred
• CCURE, S2, Lenel, Avigilon, Salient, Exacq, AMAG, Milestone and Genetec Certifications are a plus!

Responsibilities

• Installs, supports and troubleshoots software working with the installation team.
• Administration and programing of Access Control and Video Management application(s)
• Program systems utilizing labeling methodology, system wiring and system programming sheets
• Provide technical expertise in development and execution Access Control and Video Management
• Interact and communicate effectively with client and internal teams

Benefits

• Salary range: $38 - $50 hourly

• Vacation time offered at an accrual rate of 3.08 hours biweekly. Unused vacation is only paid out where required by law
