About The Position

Anakim Consulting is hiring junior-, mid-, and senior-level Application Security Engineers to support application security activities, including security code reviews, vulnerability assessments, and application security testing. Engineers use application security tools to identify security weaknesses and work with development teams to remediate vulnerabilities. They may also assist with implementing security controls within applications, contribute to secure software development practices, participate in application security assessments, and maintain security documentation and tracking of findings.

The role is 100% on-site in Ashburn, Virginia, and requires current CBP Suitability or eligibility to obtain secure access approval for CBP Entry on Duty (EOD). Applicants must be U.S. citizens with no dual citizenship. Multiple openings are available at junior, mid, and senior levels.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship with no dual citizenship.
• Current CBP Suitability or eligibility to obtain secure access approval for CBP Entry on Duty (EOD).
• Availability to work on-site in Ashburn, Virginia.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills to work across varied staff levels in a government-contractor blended team environment.
• Junior level: 1 or more years of experience.
• Mid-level: 3 or more years of experience.
• Senior level: 5 or more years of experience.
