About The Position

Current banking systems don’t let us send, spend or receive money across borders easily. Or quickly. Or cheaply. So, we’re building a new one. And, we need a Security Engineer to join our mission and help us build a global platform that’s scalable, reliable and secure. We’re working on lots of exciting challenges, and you’ll dive right into projects helping consumers and businesses receive and send money from anywhere in the world. You will be responsible for building security focused technical solutions with high regards to code quality, architecture applicability, performance, reliability and adherence to company-wide engineering standards. You will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, responding to, and managing security incidents, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of our organization's information systems.

Requirements

Expertise in Windows, MacOS, or Linux.
Skills with Elastic, EDR, SIEM, WAF, and cloud infrastructure.
Experience in an agile fashion, with engineers closely collaborating with other platform teams.
Ability to thrive in an environment of open feedback and continuous improvement.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Python, Go, asynchronous message queues, and microservices architecture.
Skills in designing, deploying, and maintaining clean RESTful APIs.
Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS).

Responsibilities

Building security focused technical solutions with high regards to code quality, architecture applicability, performance, reliability and adherence to company-wide engineering standards.
Monitoring, detecting, responding to, and managing security incidents, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of our organization's information systems.
Driving the technical solutions for detection engineering, threat hunting, incident response and threat intelligence.
Helping to scale-up and build a world class SOC.
Investigating problems to their root cause.
Threat hunting and data exploration.
Collaborating with a dynamic team, bringing people together to solve complex problems and drive impactful solutions.
Jumping into on-call rotations, ensuring our systems are secure and resilient around the clock.
