About The Position

As the Application Programmer, you will join a high-performing team dedicated to excellence, innovation, and mission-critical support. At Nexagen Networks, you will play a vital role in supporting Department of Defense programs by designing, developing, and maintaining secure and reliable software applications. You will work closely with program leadership, engineers, and government stakeholders to ensure application performance, system integration, and compliance with security and regulatory requirements. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience, or an additional 2 years of industry certification and experience in lieu of a degree
  • Certification Required: Security+
  • Experience in web development and web application design
  • Experience with database management (Microsoft SQL Server, Sybase SQL)
  • Experience with testing tools and methodologies
  • Proficient in PHP
  • Proficient in C#.NET
  • Proficient in JavaScript
  • Proficient in CSS
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and deploy custom software solutions for the CMP.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze requirements and implement solutions.
  • Maintain application performance, debug issues, and recommend system improvements.
  • Provide technical support for end-users and ensure seamless integration with other CMP components.
