Application Programmer (Python/Spark) - Onsite
About The Position
Genesis10 is seeking an Application Programmer for an onsite, 12-month contract position with a global financial institution. The role is part of the Developer Experience (DevEx) department within the Global Technology division. The team improves the developer experience, advances technology platforms through innovation, and reduces risk while improving quality across the technology portfolio by aligning to a single enterprise architecture strategy. The position may be based in Charlotte, North Carolina; Pennington, New Jersey; or Plano, Texas. The pay range is $55.06–$63.06 per hour. Candidates must be available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees.
Requirements
- Professional experience as an Application Programmer.
- Proficiency with Python, Spark, and Airflow.
- Experience with Jira.
- Familiarity with development and testing practices in a large enterprise environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver complex requirements to accomplish business goals.
- Ensure software meets functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements.
- Code solutions and perform unit tests.
- Ensure solutions integrate successfully into the overall application or system through clear, robust, well-tested interfaces.
