About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking an Application Programmer for a 9-month contract position with a Global Financial Institution in Charlotte, NC. This role focuses on developing and delivering processes to help the organization achieve key goals related to workforce time transparency. The position involves data analysis, conducting data and process gathering sessions, creating procedural documentation, and capturing business requirements for operational dashboards.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Experience with data gathering for organizational-wide process design and procedural documentation
• Experience with constructing and sustaining data models and capturing requirements for operational dashboards
• Advanced/Intermediate skills in Excel, MS Office PowerPoint, JIRA, and Tableau
• Advanced experience with data technologies and aggregation from multiple sources
• Advanced understanding of metadata, data lineage concepts, and the business domain
• Proficient in designing, developing, and executing test cases
• Experience with Agile, MicroStrategy, and ITSM

Nice To Haves

• Experience with basic AI tools is a strong plus (e.g., GitHub CoPilot)

Responsibilities

• Perform large volume data analysis to develop thematic analytical output and identify correlation and trend information
• Contribute to story refinement and defining requirements for data collection and presentation in automated scorecards
• Collaborate with development teams to understand data requirements and ensure feasible data architecture
• Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional and non-functional requirements
• Utilize processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, data quality controls, and workload management
• Collaborate with Project Management to document and communicate required information for deployment, maintenance, and support
• Adhere to team delivery/release process and cadence for metric aggregation and presentation
• Identify gaps in data management standards and work with partners to develop plans to close them
• Lead concept and experimentation testing to validate and improve analytical solutions
