The Office of Admissions has an outstanding opportunity for multiple seasonal application processors to join their team. Reporting to the Assistant Director for First-Year Processing, the application processor is responsible for assisting with the processing of over 60,000 first-year applications for the Autumn 2027 First-Year class. Application Processors must be able to learn quickly and manage a large workload with speed and accuracy, while adhering to and upholding University of Washington’s policy on confidentiality. The mission of the Undergraduate Office of Admission is to attract and enroll talented and diverse students in order to help create an intellectually and culturally vibrant student body. The values of the University – integrity, diversity, excellence, collaboration, innovation and respect – are exemplified by the Office of Admissions. There will be approximately three weeks of fast paced, intensive remote training. Specialized training may be provided as deemed necessary. Selected candidates for this position would be expected to work independently, as well as complete repetitive and detailed procedures with speed and accuracy. Work will be continually reviewed to verify consistent implementation of procedures. Candidates will work remotely, but closely with Office of Admissions staff and must make a commitment for the entire duration of the assignment, October 19 through January 29 or as dictated by workload demands. Processors will be required to pick up and transport technology equipment (laptop, charger, monitor, keyboard, mouse, etc.) from UW Seattle the week prior to October 19.
