About The Position

abra professional services is seeking an Application Infrastructure Specialist. We are looking for a skilled Application Infrastructure Specialist to manage, maintain, upgrade, monitor, and troubleshoot application infrastructure systems in a complex enterprise environment. This role requires strong hands-on experience with application infrastructure, Linux Red Hat, Windows Servers, web servers, monitoring tools, troubleshooting tools, and ongoing work with development, infrastructure, and operations teams. A full-time hybrid position based in Central Israel, with 4 days a week from the office and 1 day remote.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience as an Application Infrastructure Specialist – mandatory.
  • At least 3 years of deep experience and knowledge as a Linux Network Administrator in a Red Hat environment – mandatory.
  • At least 5 years of deep experience and knowledge in Windows Server environments – mandatory.
  • At least 5 years of experience managing web systems based on HTTP servers, including IIS, WebSphere, Apache, and Tomcat – mandatory.
  • At least 5 years of experience with user-side troubleshooting and monitoring tools such as Network Monitor, Wireshark, Fiddler, Process Monitor, and Browser Developer Console – mandatory.
  • At least 5 years of experience with system monitoring tools such as Elasticsearch & Kibana, AppDynamics, and SCOM – mandatory.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience writing scripts in SQL, Bash, PowerShell, and Batch – advantage.
  • Experience with infrastructure products such as Active Directory and Citrix – advantage.
  • Knowledge of databases such as Oracle and SQL Server – advantage.
  • Knowledge of capital markets system infrastructure – significant advantage.
  • Experience with AI tools – advantage.
  • Very high professional capabilities.
  • Ability to manage and execute tasks while coordinating with additional stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure and during non-standard hours.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to understand complex work processes and maintain a broad system-wide perspective.
  • Ability to manage and execute multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, maintain, and upgrade application infrastructure systems.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and infrastructure failures in existing systems.
  • Work closely with development teams and various operations teams.
  • Support and implement new systems and versions.
  • Proactively identify, monitor, and quickly resolve system issues.
  • Work directly with development, infrastructure, and operations stakeholders.
