About The Position

The Application Fulfillment Specialist partners with advisors and clients to complete life insurance, long-term care, and disability insurance applications accurately and efficiently. This role is responsible for gathering application information, facilitating signatures, obtaining required application documentation, and ensuring all requirements needed for submission are complete. Once the application package has been finalized, the specialist coordinates a seamless handoff to Case Management, which takes over the underwriting and placement process.

Requirements

Strong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Office and CRM applications

Track record of success in fast-paced customer service environment
Associate degree
Equivalent combination of education and experience

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in the insurance or financial services industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

Complete applications directly with the client, coordinate signatures, and other related requirements based on age, face amount, and individual carrier guidelines.
Explain next steps and underwriting process to clients.
Communicate with the agent and client throughout the signature process
Update all parties on status
Record receipt of application and partner with case management for a smooth hand off to the underwriting process
Utilize and drive e-solutions; be able to educate and walk clients through the e-signing process.
Develop cross-departmental relationships to advocate the smoothest client experience.
Evaluate the needs of each call to determine the best course of action for the agent and client.
Identify potential underwriting roadblocks and evaluate the next steps with your internal underwriter.
Partner with contracting to discuss contracting requirements and appointments.
Coordinate scheduling applications with agents, clients, or internal sales team.
