The position involves showcasing TRUMPF punching/combination systems, optimizing parts and workflows, training customers, and driving Industry 4.0 adoption, partnering with global teams and traveling approximately 30% across North America. The role also includes leading high-impact demos and production flow presentations, representing TRUMPF at trade shows, and providing applications/sales support with TRUMPF digital solutions and Industry 4.0. Responsibilities include running producibility, gripper/parts analysis, and time studies, creating sample parts/grippers to prove ROI, owning the production showroom tech, and keeping machines showcase-ready. The employee will train customers on programming and operation for smooth startups and sustained success, collaborate with global TRUMPF teams, and feed field insights into product improvements (including bending). Continuous upskilling through testing and training is expected. Travel is approximately 30% across the USA, Mexico, and Canada.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and production software
  • Excellent customer-facing communication
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs
  • Ability to operate forklifts/overhead cranes
  • 2-year technical degree with strong math or equivalent experience
