About The Position

This position will serve as a technical expert for precision motion solutions, partnering closely with customers and internal teams to develop optimized, high-performance motor solutions. This role bridges customer requirements with engineering design, ensuring technically sound, commercially viable, and differentiated solutions. Hybrid schedule: 3 days in office, 2 days remote

Requirements

  • Degree in mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related engineering discipline
  • Relevant experience in motion control, precision motors, or electromechanical applications
  • 3-5 years of experience in application engineering, customer-facing technical roles, or product development preferred.
  • Strong understanding of electromechanical systems, motors, and motion control technologies
  • Proficiency in engineering calculations and simulation tools
  • Customer-centric mindset with strong problem-solving ability
  • Cross-functional Collaboration and stakeholder management
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Project management and execution discipline
  • Working proficiency in usage of MS-Office Tools (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Fluency in verbal and written communication English
  • Willingness to travel extensively (upto 25%) within the designated markets and production facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the technical expert for motion solutions, engaging directly with customers to understand end-product requirements.
  • Develop technical-commercial proposals for both standard and customized solutions.
  • Translate Voice of Customer (VoC) into Voice of Design (VoD) specifications for customized solutions.
  • Analyze, map, and scope customer technical requirements based on application needs.
  • Recommend optimized motion solutions, leveraging cross-functional expertise.
  • Perform technical calculations, simulations, and validations to ensure feasibility and performance compliance.
  • Collaborate with sales, engineering, R&D, and manufacturing teams to create differentiated and value-driven solutions.
  • Work with finance and operations teams to ensure cost effectiveness and financial viability of proposals.
  • Manage customer projects through development and production qualification stages.
  • Coordinate internal resources to ensure timely program execution.
  • Track, maintain, and report project status using CRM tools.
  • Visit customers at key program milestones to validate requirements and ensure alignment.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen competitive positioning and customer partnerships.
  • Support stage-gate processes for critical programs.
  • Participate in Project Planning Group discussions and presentations.
  • Contribute to business case development for custom product investments.
  • Collect and analyze customer feedback and market trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape product roadmap and innovation priorities.
  • Provide technical training to internal sales teams to enhance product knowledge and value propositions.
  • Deliver training sessions for customers and distributors as required.
