The Role This role works at the intersection of engineering, customer engagement, and sales, partnering with consulting engineers, contractors, distributors, and internal teams to design and deliver effective water and wastewater solutions. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering (or related engineering discipline)
  • 3+ years of experience in the water/wastewater industry or a related engineering field
  • Membership in an Association of Professional Engineers
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and system designs
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Experience working with customers, contractors, or consulting engineers
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with municipal bidding or tendering processes
  • Experience with AutoCAD or similar design tools
  • Green Belt certification or familiarity with continuous improvement methods
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
  • Hands-on experience with controls, electrical panels, or mechanical equipment

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical sales support to consulting engineers, contractors, distributors, and internal sales teams.
  • Review plans and specifications, perform hydraulic system analysis, and recommend appropriate equipment solutions.
  • Support bids, proposals, submittals, and technical documentation for municipal and industrial projects.
  • Coordinate with sales, customer service, project management, and manufacturing to ensure project requirements and timelines are met.
  • Deliver technical presentations, lunch-and-learns, and seminars for customers and engineering partners.
  • Provide field engineering support, including troubleshooting and site visits when needed.
  • Prepare drawings, conceptual designs, and equipment sizing to support project execution.
  • Manage smaller technical projects and assist with large multi-department initiatives.
