About The Position

We are conducting a search for a Mid-Level Application Engineer - Cyber Security Analytics Engineer. We are seeking an ideal candidate who can develop and manage software tools to support Enterprise Management. This role involves formulating and defining specifications for software applications, as well as modifying and maintaining existing applications using engineering releases and utilities provided by the software distributor. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation. User administration on Enterprise Management supporting technologies will also be a part of this role.

Requirements

• Software development (Java, Perl, SQL, Eclipse, Maven, web application development)
• Windows and Linux System administration
• 1+ year experience developing Splunk analytics and dashboards
• RESTful service development experience
• Experience with Git, Jira, RegEx, Java/Spring/Python
• TS/SCI with Polygraph Required

Nice To Haves

• ITIL v3 Foundation certification
• Experience working in a DevOps Linux environment
• Familiar with LDAP/Authorization protocols
• ELK stack
• ArcSight
• SQL
• Ansible/Salt/Puppet/Chef
• Pig/MapReduce scripts
• Machine learning
