About The Position

Themis Insight is hiring an Application Engineer 4 (DevOps) to support its Secure the Enterprise initiative. The initiative aims to replace manual system security evaluation and authorization with automated capabilities, streamlined processes and approvals, continuous monitoring and assessment, and network data gathering throughout a project’s life cycle. The role is based in Linthicum Heights, Maryland, although the position location may change based on the needs of the central Maryland client. A TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph is required.

The DevOps Engineer will facilitate infrastructure management, continuous integration, environment configuration, and deployment while supporting the project’s compliance and security posture. The role focuses on delivering automation that enables other teams to operate smoothly.

Requirements

• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
• Technical-field experience and education directly related to the proposed labor category; diplomas, GED certificates, and degrees must be from accredited institutions.
• Minimum experience and education combination: 12 years with a high school diploma or GED; 10 years with an associate degree; 8 years with a bachelor's degree; 6 years with a master's degree; or 4 years with a doctorate.
• Linux system administration.
• Docker.
• Python scripting.
• AWS or other cloud experience.
• GitLab Pipeline.
• Ansible.
