About The Position

Perform application systems analysis and programming activities in coordination with technology teams. Ensure appropriate integration of Global Financial and Treasury Liquidity functions by identifying and defining system enhancements to support new Treasury Liquidity products and Recovery & Resolution Planning process improvements. Resolve high impact problems through in depth evaluation of complex business and system processes. Apply advanced knowledge of applications programming, system flows, and application architecture to ensure all solutions adhere to established design standards and overall architecture blueprints. Develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation while performing detailed analysis using interpretive thinking to define issues and develop technical solutions. Develop and implement comprehensive data strategies, architectural roadmaps, and scalable data pipelines for Global Financial and Treasury and Recovery & Resolution Planning Technologies, including data warehousing solutions. Perform the full lifecycle of enterprise grade software development, including systems analysis, architectural design, development, testing, and implementation. Ensure adherence to architectural best practices, scalability, resilience, and security. Establish Citi enterprise data catalog lineages and assess risks associated with technology decisions while ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. Support transparency and effective control management. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Applied Computer Science, Computer Applications or a related field, and six (6) years of experience in the job offered, or in a related IT occupation developing applications.
  • Designing and developing ETL and large scale data processing systems using Informatica, Ab Initio, SQL, Oracle, MS SQL Server, and Teradata
  • Developing data management solutions for regulatory systems to ensure data governance and compliance
  • Designing, developing, and maintaining large scale ETL pipelines and big data systems using Data Migration, SQL, Unix Scripts, Hadoop, Kafka, MQ Series, Java, REST API, and development IDEs
  • Defining and delivering data strategies and architectural roadmaps, including development of scalable data pipelines integrating, solution design, Advance data modeling (Erwin), Data governance, IT architecture and Enterprise data warehousing
  • Designing and implementing technical solutions including application development, prototyping, proof of concept development, testing, and maintenance, ensuring adherence to architectural standards, scalability, resilience, and security.
  • Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, and four (4) years of experience (alternative to Bachelor's degree requirement).
  • Pre or post Master’s degree experience accepted.
