About The Position

Designs, develops and implements enterprise software solutions. Collaborates closely with technical and non-technical roles such as data modelers, architects, business analysts, data stewards, and subject matter experts (SMEs). Monitors and supports critical production processes, including provider directory feeds, credentialing feeds, provider data quality processes, Medicaid provider registration, and other downstream provider data transmissions. Develops efficient code in various development languages for enhancements and bug fixes. Designs, and develops software solutions and process flows complying with standards, guidelines, and best practices. Identifies and implements process improvements focused on performance, scalability, automation, data quality, and repeatability. Troubleshoots production issues, identifies root causes, and implements sustainable solutions to improve process reliability and reduce operational risk. Creates, executes, and evaluates unit/integration tests. Identifies, assesses, and formulates architectural impacts and solutions from business requirements. Analyzes user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints, including the ability to estimate work needed. Creates conceptual and detailed technical design documents. Provides implementation expertise contributing to rollback, post install, data migration, and other artifacts as required including creation of support plans. Adheres to security management practices and promotes established security standards. Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with all policies and standards.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science) and requires 2 – 4 years of related experience.
  • Equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position.
  • Strong application development and data engineering experience, with a demonstrated understanding of provider data and provider directory processes, particularly within government health insurance programs such as Medicare, Medicaid, and Marketplace.
