Remote - Application Development Analyst
About The Position
World Business Lenders (WBL) is proud to offer short-term, real estate-backed commercial loans to a diverse range of small and medium-sized businesses across the United States, especially those who may find it challenging to secure traditional financing. Typically, the work schedule is from 9:00am to 6:00pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, though there might be times when additional hours are needed to meet business demands. We’re looking for someone with strong communication skills in both English, both spoken and written. Please note that all resumes should be submitted in English. We are looking for two Application Development Analysts dedicated to developing and maintaining features within SaaS platforms (such as HubSpot, Quickbase, and Frappe). These roles are not solely frontend or backend but require versatile, systems-focused developers.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience as an Application Developer.
- Hands-on builder experienced in working with various web technologies and SaaS platforms.
- Strong JavaScript (including HTML/CSS)
- Working knowledge of Python
- Experience integrating and working with APIs (consuming, not necessarily building)
- Experience working within cloud-based or SaaS platforms
- Experience with Git/GitHub for version control
- Ability to work with structured data (JSON, API payloads, basic data handling)
- Experience building, modifying, and maintaining web-based applications or workflows
- Understanding of application architecture and system integrations
- Ability to debug issues across systems (frontend + platform + API layers)
- Clear communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ownership and accountability for features and system outcomes.
- Problem-solving mindset across loosely coupled systems.
- Adaptability in evolving environments and toolsets.
- Collaboration across engineering, product, and data teams.
- JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Python, APIs, REST, JSON, SaaS platforms, system integrations, Git, and GitHub.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred — but we also highly value equivalent hands-on experience!
Nice To Haves
- Experience working within platforms such as HubSpot, Quickbase, or similar SaaS tools
- Experience integrating front-end components with SaaS systems and external services
- Familiarity with authentication, third-party integrations, and basic security concepts
- Exposure to Frappe Framework or similar extensible platforms
- Experience working in environments with multiple integrated systems (CRM, internal tools, etc.)
- Experience with AJAX, jQuery, or similar lightweight frontend approaches
- Familiarity with automation or workflow tools within SaaS platforms
- Experience collaborating with data teams or working alongside data pipelines
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain functionality within SaaS platforms (HubSpot, Quickbase, Frappe)
