About The Position
ERCO Worldwide is looking for an Application Developer to join their Toronto team. This individual will be responsible for full stack application development, reporting to the Application Development Team Lead of Information Technology. The role involves the implementation of innovative business systems solutions, leveraging Power Platforms (Power Apps, Power Automate), Azure (App Services, Function Apps, Logic Apps, Azure AD), Azure SQL DB, and SharePoint online.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
- 3–6 years of experience in software development and application support.
- Up to 2 years experience developing applications using React and/or C# .NET is required.
- Experience with software design principles and modern development practices.
- Knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Power Platform, Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, and Azure.
- Should be able to demonstrate critical thinking, problem-solving skills and be able to talk to specific demonstrable experience in solution design and these platforms.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice To Haves
- N8N experience is preferred.
- 1-3 years of Power Platforms experience is preferred.
- Experience with CoPilot Studio is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support full-stack business applications.
- Gather requirements and collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Develop solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, Azure Services, SharePoint Online, and related technologies.
- Provide ongoing application support and troubleshoot production issues.
- Create and maintain technical and end-user documentation.
- Deliver user training and support successful adoption of new solutions.
- Manage competing priorities across multiple projects in an Agile environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously enhance existing applications and processes.
