About The Position
BlueWater Federal is looking for an Application Developer to support the Dept of the Navy at the Pentagon.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field such as computer science, information systems, cybersecurity, or related technical discipline
- Must have an active Secret clearance.
- 2+ years of C# and/or Java development.
- 2+ years of experience developing and deploying applications and tools using ASP.NET C#, HTML5, JavaScript, Ajax, CSS, Java, Microsoft SQL, and XML
- 2+ years of experience debugging and modifying existing applications in various programming languages.
- 2+ years of experience scanning applications with application security testing tools such as Fortify.
- Security+ certification is required
- Working knowledge of implementing Application Security and Development Security STIGs and DoD policies in systems/applications.
Responsibilities
- Serve as principal web-based developer and provide primary design and functionality enhancements.
- Provide Webmaster functions, updates to website content, reevaluation and enhancement of website functionality, verifying website links, and verifying compliance with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.
- Analyze software upgrades and provide recommendations for implementation.
- Assist with DoD/DON statutory and regulatory requirements for IT portfolio management in all life cycle stages.
