The Application Developer will create, develop, and modify general computer applications, interfaces, and specialized utility programs. With a strong background in research, design, development, and testing of code, they will analyze user needs and develop appropriate software solutions that will enhance the user experience. Collaborate with colleagues, CHA business units, and Project Management Office to design and develop application systems and programs. Contribute to project management, architecture, and design processes. Work within change control guidelines for production implementations. Test and revise each solution, including user acceptance testing, to ensure performance and efficiency standards are met. Build deployment pipelines in Azure DevOps for services and projects. Maintain a working knowledge of development systems used by the Web and Development groups, including relationships with external support organizations. Assist with end-user support of foundational systems; troubleshoot and resolve production application errors while adhering to IT change processes. Design and propose database objects based on the organization’s data policy. Design, implement, and support reporting systems. Document solutions in accordance with development standards and procedures as outlined by the Software Development Life Cycle.
