About The Position

Nalley Consulting is seeking an Application Developer to join their team in Washington, D.C. This hybrid role requires approximately 2 days per week onsite at DIA HQ. The developer will work with prime partners to staff Department of Defense and Intelligence Community positions. The company was created by a U.S. Navy intelligence veteran and has grown to include multiple IDIQ vehicles in several states.

Requirements

  • Experience with application or software development.
  • Experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development, including packages, procedures, and functions.
  • Experience using Node.js with Typescript, SQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Elasticsearch.
  • Experience developing and supporting applications anchored in Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, and newer implementations, and different or emerging technologies, including cloud and AI.
  • Experience with SQL Server and T-SQL development, including procedures and functions.
  • Experience with programming languages such as .NET, C#, Java, or web services.
  • Experience writing web service calls and performing application to database integration.
  • Experience working for HHS clients, including NIH.
  • Experience with JSON, Java, JavaScript, SharePoint, XML, VBAs, Oracle, MongoDB, Solr, SQL, Open AI, or other AI technologies.
  • Experience creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative team environment.
  • At least 8 years of experience for Senior level.
  • At least 6 years of experience for Mid level.
  • Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience or master's degree and 8+ years of experience for Senior level.
  • Bachelor's degree for Mid level.
  • TS/SCI with willingness to take CI poly.

Nice To Haves

  • Candidates with current CI poly taken within the past seven years will be prioritized.
  • Knowledge of continuing learning opportunities with technology to support enhanced problem-solving.
  • Ability to work with automated testing tools.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and support applications anchored in Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, and newer implementations, including cloud and AI technologies.
  • Write web service calls and perform application to database integration.
  • Create solutions to complex problems within a collaborative team environment.
  • Assimilate user feedback into functionality or usability improvements.
  • Communicate with stakeholders with varying levels of technical understanding.
  • Support multiple efforts concurrently.
