About The Position

CTG is seeking to fill an Application Developer position for our client. This role involves designing, developing, testing, and supporting enterprise applications using Java/JEE and web technologies. The developer will work with Java frameworks and languages like Ruby and Groovy, implement enterprise application components, manage transactions, integrate enterprise systems, and apply principles such as dependency injection, inversion of control, aspect-oriented programming, functional programming, and data access. The position also includes developing batch processing solutions, automated tests using test-driven development, and supporting DevOps processes, CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and application maintenance.

Requirements

• Professional experience developing and supporting enterprise applications using Java/JEE and web technologies.
• Experience with Java frameworks, enterprise architectures, data access, transaction management, and system integration.
• Knowledge of Ruby and/or Groovy, dependency injection, inversion of control, aspect-oriented programming, and functional programming.
• Experience with test-driven development, automated testing, batch processing, and DevOps/CI/CD practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
