About The Position

We are requesting a backfill for an Application Developer to ensure continuity in ongoing development work and provide proper coverage during US hours. This role is essential to maintain velocity, avoid delays and reduce risk to application stability and timelines. The role involves 8+ years of experience in the IT industry, with involvement in all Production Support activities for Web Applications (.Net, Angular and SQL server and Oracle). The developer will provide application availability support, serve as a technical subject matter expert, and offer application triage support. This includes following communication and escalation routines to prevent and handle SLA breaches, working closely with Development Teams to support release deployments and upgrades, and participating in Disaster Recovery and Resiliency testing. Additionally, the role provides capacity management support.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in IT industry
• In depth knowledge and hands-on experience working on technologies - .Net, ASP.NET, WEB API, Angular, SQL Server 2019 (Including SSIS)
• Excellent debugging skills using ASP.Net using C#
• Extensively worked with Bit Bucket
• Excellent technical, oral and analytical skills
• Admirable interpersonal abilities and an efficient team player
• Capable to complete tasks independently with in the given SLA
• Quickly learn new technology and adapt to a new environment
• .NET, ASP.NET, WEB API and Angular
• Hadoop and SQL Server (Including SSIS)
• Agile methodology
• C#.Net, Asp.Net, Angular, SQL Server and Hadoop
• Familiar with Teradata

Responsibilities

• Ensure continuity in ongoing development work and provide proper coverage during US hours.
• Maintain velocity, avoid delays, and reduce risk to application stability and timelines.
• Involved in all Production Support activities for Web Applications (.Net, Angular and SQL server and Oracle).
• Provide application availability support (example, onboarding AITs, Operations for Business-as-Usual (BAU), application monitoring).
• Serve as technical subject matter expert both from an application functionality as well as production platform perspective.
• Application Triage Support.
• Follow communication and escalation routines to prevent and handle SLA breaches - contacting downstream and upstream data source applications for data delays, data quality issues, create and send user bulletins for data provisioning delays / issues.
• Work closely with Development Teams in supporting release deployments, software/server upgrades and also participate in Disaster Recovery and Resiliency testing exercises.
• Provide capacity management support (example, ensure enough space allocation on database/server filesystem and directories).
