FEMA Application Developer
About The Position
Connected Logistics is seeking an Application Developer to join their Information Technology Support Services team in support of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) at the National Emergency Training Center (NETC) in Emmitsburg, Maryland. The role involves designing and developing high-quality, scalable software applications, analyzing user requirements, writing clean code, collaborating with cross-functional teams, performing code reviews, debugging, maintaining existing applications, conducting testing, implementing security best practices, and staying updated with emerging technologies.
Requirements
- US Citizenship required.
- Onsite Emmitsburg, Maryland.
- FEMA Public Trust or T4 Public Trust.
- Must be able to write SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (including jQuery, jQuery plug-ins, and various other 3rd party JavaScript libraries).
- Must be capable of writing client and web-based applications using Classic ASP, ASP.NET, Visual Basic, .NET, C#, and Microsoft Access.
- Experience using Microsoft Visual Studio and SQL Server Management Studio.
- Skill in working independently, multitasking, prioritizing projects, and meeting deadlines.
- Skill in using analytical and research skills in performance of job duties.
- Demonstrate high-end customer service skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Skill in establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with others.
- Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Self-motivated to learn, troubleshoot, and complete projects.
Responsibilities
