Application Developer Task Leader
About The Position
Vista Innovative Solutions is seeking an Application Developer to add to our Information Technology Support Services team in support of the Army Sustainment Command (ASC) at the Rock Island Arsenal in Rock Island, Illinois. The Application Developer Task Lead will oversee daily project operations, perform project planning and architecture, and manage task delegation, execution, and control in addition to their programming responsibilities. This individual will be responsible for project scope, task schedules, and change management processes. The Task Lead will provide guidance and leadership to the technical staff and work with the PM to develop customized continual improvement plans and standard operating procedures focused on the customer’s mission. The Task Lead will lead In Process Review (IPR) meetings and provide status reports on tasks/projects assigned to the project team. The Task Lead will provide specialized and ad hoc reports when requested by the government.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IM field or Technical field or equivalent
- 5+ years of work-related experience including 2+ years of leadership experience
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks; assign resources to tasks effectively
- Ability to research, develop, and implement new technology for continual improvement of quality & delivery
- Experience using Team Foundation Server to manage product backlogs and efficient resource assignments
- Effective at developing & adjusting action plans
