Application Developer - SAP BRIM
About The Position
BVA Bears IT Solutions is seeking an SAP BRIM -Application Developer to work in the Middletown, PA area. This is a full time position with at least 2 days on-site and possibly 3 days remote. As an SAP BRIM-Application Developer, you will be responsible for design, configure, and implement solutions within SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management (BRIM) and related SAP S/4HANA modules. This role supports enterprise billing and revenue management processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and integration with other systems. The developer will collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient solutions.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of SAP application development experience, including BRIM configuration.
- 2+ full-cycle SAP S/4HANA BRIM implementations.
- Experience with payment gateway integration and secure payment design.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in SAP BRIM modules (SOM, CI).
- Familiarity with mediation systems, API management, and event-driven architecture (SAP BTP).
- Strong documentation and testing skills.
Nice To Haves
- SAP BRIM certifications (BR235/240/245/416).
- Experience with Agile/Hybrid methodologies.
- Knowledge of Microsoft ADO, JIRA, and ServiceNow.
- Industry experience in utilities or transportation with usage-based billing models.
Responsibilities
- System Design & Development
- Configure and customize SAP BRIM modules (Subscription Order Management, Convergent Invoicing, Convergent Charging) to meet business requirements.
- Develop and maintain integrations between SAP BRIM and external systems (CRM, payment gateways, mediation systems).
- Ensure solutions adhere to SAP best practices, minimizing customizations where possible.
- Requirements Gathering & Documentation
- Participate in workshops to capture business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Document features, user stories, and development tasks in Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO).
- Prepare functional and technical design documents, test plans, and impact analysis reports.
- Testing & Quality Assurance
- Write and execute functional test cases; review SIT and UAT scripts for completeness.
- Conduct troubleshooting and defect resolution during testing phases.
- Compliance & Security
- Ensure solutions meet PCI DSS, SOC1/SOC2 compliance standards.
- Implement secure payment flows and tokenization strategies.
- Training & Support
- Develop training materials and deliver sessions for end-users and support teams.
- Provide post-go-live support and collaborate with ServiceNow for incident management.
