About The Position

This role focuses on the management and optimization of application upgrades, installations, and batch scheduling tools. The developer will be responsible for configuring and maintaining batch scheduling systems, with a specific emphasis on Redwood RunMyJobs, ensuring efficient operation and adherence to business Service Level Agreements (SLAs). The position involves designing and optimizing schedules, troubleshooting CI/CD and migration issues, managing job dependencies, and monitoring performance. Collaboration with business and technical teams is key to aligning batch processes with organizational needs.

Requirements

  • Manage and configure batch scheduling systems, including patching, for over 6 years.
  • Administer, set up, and troubleshoot Redwood RunMyJobs for 2–3 years.

Nice To Haves

  • Utilize various batch scheduling tools and technologies (e.g., IBM Tivoli, Control-M, ActiveBatch).
  • Work with Linux, Windows, and other operating systems relevant to batch processing.
  • Develop scripts to automate batch scheduling and monitoring tasks.
  • Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve technical issues.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
