About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking an Application Architect for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution in Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity focused on designing and implementing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) solutions to support an Oracle Cloud ERP implementation. The role requires expertise in OCI design, developing migration strategies for on-premise and cloud-based applications, and ensuring the cloud environment meets business objectives for cost, performance, and security.

Requirements

Proven expertise in OCI design, implementation strategies, and environment management best practices
Experience assessing on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure and applications
Ability to develop and execute comprehensive migration strategies to OCI
Experience designing and implementing OCI solutions to support Oracle Cloud ERP
Skilled in developing OCI cloud strategies aligned with business objectives (cost, performance, scalability, security)
Experience working with ERP implementation teams, DevOps, and IT operations
Knowledge of implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions on OCI

Responsibilities

Provide expertise in the establishment of OCI design and implementation strategies and environment management best practices
Assess existing on-premises or cloud-based infrastructure and applications
Develop comprehensive migration strategies and execute plans to seamlessly transition them to OCI
Design and implement Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) solutions to support the Oracle Cloud ERP implementation
Design and develop OCI cloud strategies aligned with business objectives, considering factors such as cost, performance, scalability, and security
Advise and work with ERP implementation teams, DevOps engineers, and IT operations to ensure smooth integration and delivery of cloud-based solutions
Implement effective monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions on OCI to proactively identify and address performance issues and security threats
Ensure OCI solutions meet industry-standard security and compliance requirements, implementing security controls, encryption, and access management measures as necessary
Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and mechanisms to ensure business continuity, with a special emphasis on data integrity
