About The Position
The Arizona Secretary of State is seeking an experienced Application Architect / Low-Code Developer to support a highly visible and time-sensitive application development initiative using the Mendix platform. The selected candidate will assist with requirements gathering, system design, development, testing, deployment, and support of secure, scalable, and user-centered applications. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to critical state technology initiatives while leveraging modern Low-Code / No-Code development methodologies.
Requirements

- Application development, testing, and deployment experience.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities
- Assist Business Analysts with requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, and implementation activities.
- Participate in application design sessions and business process improvement initiatives.
- Analyze current-state business processes and document workflow requirements.
- Develop future-state business processes, workflows, and business rules.
- Configure and develop Mendix applications, including Microflows, Nanoflows, Domain Models, UI Components, Pages, Integrations and Data Sources.
- Develop process flow diagrams and application models.
- Create and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans and test cases.
- Coordinate testing activities with business stakeholders.
- Perform data validation and quality assurance activities.
- Support pre-production testing and production readiness activities.
- Troubleshoot application issues and resolve defects.
- Participate in status meetings and Agile ceremonies.
- Maintain technical, operational, and project documentation.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to project leadership.
