About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking an Application Architect IV for a 12+ month contract position with a Global Financial Institution. This role focuses on providing application support for critical applications in the Payments space. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring applications, triaging production issues, preparing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) documents, and collaborating with various teams to resolve issues and ensure 100% SLA compliance. The position also requires on-call support and the ability to automate daily tasks through scripting.

Requirements

Hands-on experience with application support workload
Java/J2EE or Cloud experience
Experience with Dynatrace, Splunk, SQL, and log analysis
Knowledge of Python / AI
Good communication skills

Responsibilities

Monitor and support applications to meet 100% SLA
Provide on-call support, including after-hours and weekends as business needs require
Triage production tickets and issues
Prepare Root Cause Analysis (RCA) documents
Partner with Application teams, CCO, and other application support teams to resolve issues
Prepare and/or review Impact Analysis based on issue analysis
Write scripts to automate mundane daily BAU tasks
Identify root causes in the code and suggest break-fix activities in the code and/or DB
Follow the release management and code deployment process to migrate code changes
