Application and Validation Engineer (General Sensors)
About The Position
FORVIA - HELLA is seeking its next great Application and Validation Engineer (General Sensors) to join our human resources team. The primary function of this role is to support our dynamic employee compensation and benefit packages. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field.
- Self starter, ability to work with little to no daily supervision.
- 1+ years of experience conducting sensor application work: Familiarity with LIN CAN and Vector tools a plus
- Ability to support vehicle level testing in chamber as well as road test drives to collect data. Certain tests may require night driving occasionally
- Valid driver’s license with no active restrictions
- Good communication skills (verbal and written) are a must

Responsibilities
- Serve as the on site technical expert for application related topics
- Analyze customer test requirements and internal test specifications
- Coordinate with global testing team all activities to ensure alignment and standardization of test methods
- Execute vehicle level testing in Rain Chamber as well as Road Tests. Document evaluation results in official reports with the global engineering team.
- Create evaluation reports and present to internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain rain chamber equipment maintenance schedule
