About The Position

Application Analysts provide Customer Service Excellence by helping customers resolve issues in a timely manner while also driving to root cause to prevent recurrence. They provide daily “care and feeding” for core enterprise applications to ensure availability and performance, provide conceptual design expertise to solutions, own the application life cycle (patching, upgrades, security updates, etc.), and manage relationships with key third-party software suppliers. In this role, you will be responsible for the ongoing health, maintenance, and enhancement of our enterprise application ecosystem. You will provide exceptional technical support to our business users, ensuring our systems effectively support various business and operational processes. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a customer-centric approach to proactively manage and improve mission-critical applications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 1 or more years of related experience is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Experience in computing systems or IT support is required.
  • SaaS experience : Experience working with SaaS/cloud-based enterprise applications and supporting a cloud environment.
  • Application Administration: Direct experience administering enterprise level software applications.
  • Technical Environment : Experience supporting applications running in a Linux/Unix environment.
  • Integrations: Familiarity with integrations between complex enterprise applications.
  • Automation: Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., Python or Bash) for automation or monitoring.
  • Data Management: Demonstrated proficiency in developing and executing SQL queries using SQL Developer or similar tools
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, the ability to work independently, and a collaborative, team oriented mindset focused on customer service excellence.

Responsibilities

  • System Administration & Maintenance: Administer, configure, and maintain the health of the assigned enterprise systems. This includes managing user access, security, system performance monitoring, and proactive trend analysis to prevent issues.
  • Technical Support & Incident Resolution: Serve as a primary point of contact for enterprise application support. Troubleshoot and resolve user-reported issues related to core applications, integrations, and databases in a timely manner, ensuring thorough documentation and communication from incident creation to resolution.
  • Enterprise Business Processes : Maintain a general understanding of core business processes and workflows to ensure system configurations align with business requirements.
  • Application Lifecycle Management: Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to plan, test, and deploy system upgrades, patches, and security updates, minimizing downtime and impact on business operations.
  • Business Analysis & Improvement: Translate business objectives into technical requirements. Proactively identify opportunities for system improvements, process automation, and enhanced functionality to increase business value and user satisfaction.
  • Vendor & Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a technical liaison with software vendors for advanced support and issue escalation. Effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across the organization.
  • Cyber Security: All IT Team members are responsible for cybersecurity, including adhering to policies, training, protecting data, identifying vulnerabilities, and reporting suspicious activity.
