About The Position

This position requires regular onsite presence in both Vermont and Northern New York. Candidates must be able to travel to and work from these locations as part of their ongoing responsibilities. The Epic Professional Billing Analyst I provides analysis, technical support, and maintenance for software that supports professional billing. The individual is responsible for assessing user needs and developing solutions that align with organizational, regulatory, and IT best‑practice standards. The Analyst I develops a clear understanding of the software and tools required to meet end‑user needs while following established guidelines. Responsibilities include collaborating with end users, vendors, and internal IT staff to support business processes and ensure cohesive integration of the software applications with operational workflows and billing regulations. The Epic Professional Billing Analyst I support could include a subspecialty in designing and delivering training documentation for software used in business processes. This includes business analysis, training materials, user guides, building, testing, and maintaining training environments. The Epic Professional Billing Analyst I may be required to provide support coverage 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. The ability and means to regularly travel throughout the UVM Health Network may be required. The role of Application Analyst includes multiple levels. The hiring team reserves the right to determine appropriate level placement of our final candidate. Level and salary upon hiring are commensurate with years of relevant experience. Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is strongly preferred.
  • For Epic Application support, certification is required within 120 days of hire with a maximum of three attempts.
  • Experience with application support and/or implementation.
  • 1 or more years of relevant operational experience in lieu of direct system support.
  • Candidates must be able to travel to and work from these locations as part of their ongoing responsibilities.
  • The Epic Professional Billing Analyst I may be required to provide support coverage 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
