About The Position

This position performs general electrical maintenance and repairs on building equipment. The position requires practical skill and knowledge (but not proficiency) in Electrical and HVAC Trade.

Requirements

Must possess an EPA Universal classification for refrigerant recovery and replacement.
Must be able to successfully complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (Tier 1) background check.
Must be able to maintain ability to access government worksite.
Must be able to work alternate and extended shift schedules when necessary to meet the customer's mission requirements, including weekends and holidays.
Must be able to perform on-call duties when necessary and report to work within the required timeframe from notification.
Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license and a safe driving record, in accordance with company policy, to operate vehicles or equipment as required for the position.

Nice To Haves

Prefer an individual with a minimum of two (2) years related experience and/or formal vocational/technical training in Electrical and/or utility trades.
Each complete year of accredited college education in a related field may be substituted for the equivalent number of years of required experience.

Responsibilities

Replacing and repairing wires, switches, fixtures, motors, pumps, boilers, and other duties while assisting HVAC Technicians with daily duties.
Employees will be required to work on top of buildings, in mechanical rooms, in crawl spaces, etc. to do routine maintenance.
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Performs other duties as assigned.
