About The Position

NFM’s Appliance Installation Team gets to know our customers on a personal level. They provide consultation and complex installation services for our customers. As an Appliance Installer II you will be invited into our customer’s homes to ensure the work is 100% up to par with their expectations. You will play a large role in creating satisfied, loyal, life-long customers. Your work will directly impact our ability to help people create a lifestyle they love, for the people they love—because that’s what we love.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• 1 year experience in appliance service and repair
• 1 year experience in intermediate plumbing
• 2 years customer contact experience required
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Must meet hiring requirements documented in the NFM DOT non-CDL policy
• Missouri residents must have Class E driver’s license
• Must meet and/or comply with applicable standards set forth in Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act
• Ability to lift, push, pull required weights per established requirements for the department

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 2 years wiring experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Handle products so you are safe and the product is damage free
• Coordinate schedule with customers and contractors to accomplish installations in a timely manner
• Run water lines, install electrical or gas lines to properly install appliances
• Examine appliance during operating cycle to detect excess vibration, overhearing, fluid leads and/or loose parts – adjust install to 100% satisfaction
• Work with the sales and merchandising teams to support floor and/or special function displays
• Maintain inventory, order correct parts and work with service agencies on warranty repairs
