About The Position

At BrandsMart USA we provide competitive pay and ongoing training in a collaborative, supportive, and team-oriented setting. In the Appliance Service Technician role, you will enjoy working independently as a representative of a leading retailer and in-home service provider. The first 90 days will be spent completing onboarding in the Service Center in Fort Lauderdale.

Requirements

Refrigeration, EPA, or HVAC certification
Ability to drive company owned cargo vehicle
Working mechanical knowledge, including the use of tools and test equipment
Able to occasionally lift up to 100 lbs
Work with minimal supervision
Must be at least 18 years of age
Valid Driver's License Required
Must pass background and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

At Least 2 years' experience preferred but can train On the Job at the Company Owned Service Center for those without field experience right out of Certification Program

Responsibilities

Follow the truck maintenance schedule and keeping a clean, organized truck
Maintain truck stock inventory within the prescribed company guidelines and standards
Triage and diagnose repair problems
Use laptop or tablet in order to complete assigned work orders including part ordering process, communication via email, and service center job assignments.
Follow directions and specific process steps to ensure quality workmanship
Complete all technician training elements within required time frames
Providing timely, knowledgeable, courteous, and quality repairs of customers' products
Look for ways to improve business performance and enhance the customer experience
