About The Position

As a CSC Appliance Install Driver your days will be active, delivering and installing laundry equipment to a variety of places in your assigned service area. You’ll have a constant change of scenery, engage with clients and consumers daily, and learn new technology in an environment that supports your success in both your career and life. Note: This role does require overnight travel (especially in the summer for colleges), company provides room and food. CSC will provide tech with minimum notice of 2 weeks.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
Valid Driver's License
Must be 21 years of age or older
Ability to pass pre-employment screening
Mechanical & Maintenance Experience/Knowledge
Experience driving box trucks
Ability to lift up to 100lbs in a variety of environmental conditions (both weather and non-weather related)
Knowledge with computers and smart phone technology
Troubleshooting
Customer Service

Nice To Haves

DOT Certification is a plus!
1 year of job-related experience in the areas of delivery and installation (preferred) training is provided
Route Driving Experience a plus!

Responsibilities

Deliver and Install laundry equipment to client locations
Deliver and Install ancillary technology (card readers, digital enhancements)
Drive a box truck to deliver, pick up, or repair/replace washers, dryers
Prepare equipment for delivery (assemble required parts prior to loading on trucks)
Instruct customers and/or clients how to operate equipment in a safe and effective manner
Staying physically active loading and unloading your company truck using a 2-wheeled hand cart for support, ease and safety.
