About The Position

As an Appian Developer at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A), you will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying applications using the Appian low-code automation platform. This role focuses on workflow automation, data fabric, and user interface design, contributing to rapid application development. You will be involved in application architecture, process modeling, and integration within Appian’s low-code environment. The position requires transforming client requirements into functional Appian solutions through design, development, and testing, while participating in Agile software delivery to ensure high-quality user experience and application usability.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with a current CI Polygraph
• Exposure or knowledge of developing or configuring applications using Appian or similar low-code/no-code platforms
• Front-end or back-end software development skills
• Familiarity with Agile software delivery methodology.
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and multitasking abilities and ability to work across the full application development lifecycle.
• 6 Years of experience in Software or Systems Engineering roles or a highly related field of work with similar scope and responsibilities.
• A Bachelor’s degree may be substituted for 4 years of experience and a Master’s Degree may be substituted for 6 years of experience

Nice To Haves

• Experience with REST APIs
• Working knowledge of database engineering or backend services to support custom data integrations and migrations
• Experience working in AWS cloud environments
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Git

Responsibilities

• Designing, building, and deploying applications using the Appian low-code automation platform.
