Appellate/Trial Support Attorney
About The Position
The Miami, Florida office of Lewis Brisbois is seeking an Appellate/Trial Support Associate Attorney to join its Appellate Practice. The firm's national Appellate Practice handles matters in federal and state courts across the country, including the Supreme Court of the United States. Its attorneys handle civil appeals and extraordinary relief proceedings in areas including class action and mass tort, commercial litigation, construction, elder law, employment, healthcare, insurance coverage and bad faith, products liability, intellectual property, and toxic torts and environmental litigation. The successful candidate will evaluate trial records, write effective briefs, analyze and frame factual and legal issues in view of the appellate standard of review, conduct legal research, and present oral argument. The position requires appellate experience, knowledge of state and federal civil and appellate procedure, strong advocacy and writing skills, and admission to the Florida Bar.
Requirements
- At least two years of appellate experience.
- Working knowledge of state and federal civil and appellate procedure.

- Admission to the Florida Bar.
