About The Position
Roetzel & Andress is seeking an Appellate and Business Litigation Attorney for their Columbus office. This role is an opportunity to join a recognized and growing team in Ohio. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience in appellate litigation or similar roles with a strong focus on legal research and writing. Judicial clerkship experience is highly valued. Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in litigation, including substantial appellate experience.
- Exceptional research and writing skills.
- Exceptional oral advocacy skills.
- Strong work ethic and desire for professional development.
- Ability to work well independently under deadlines in a changing environment and perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrently while using sound judgment in decision-making.
- Member of the Ohio Bar in good standing.
Nice To Haves
- Relevant clerkship experience.
- Oral argument experience.
- Experience with depositions and trials.
- Experience using AI legal tools Westlaw CoCounsel and CoPilot.
- Experience in E-discovery software Relativity or RelativityOne.
Responsibilities
- Draft motions, appellate briefs, pleadings and legal memoranda.
- Review and analyze a myriad of legal issues.
- Manage relationships with clients and colleagues.
