Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experience
  • Must be 18 years of age OR older
  • 1+ years of data entry experience in a related environment (i.e., office, administrative, clerical, call center, medical claims, etc.) using computers as the primary job tool
  • 1+ years of experience working in a remote environment
  • Experience with computers and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications
  • Experience with Microsoft Word (create correspondence and work within templates), Microsoft Excel (data entry, sort / filter, and work within tables), and Microsoft Outlook (email and calendar management)
  • Typing skills with a high level of speed and accuracy; ability to complete large volumes of data entry with minimal errors
  • Ability to work any of our shift schedules during our normal business hours of 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM MST from Monday - Friday, including the flexibility to work occasional overtime based on business need
  • Reside within Pacific, Mountain, or Central Standard Time
  • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines independently
  • Strong written communication skills including advanced skills in grammar and spelling
  • Exceptional attention to detail, particularly in written communication and data entry tasks
  • Consistently meets goals and expectations through effective planning and organization
  • Demonstrates self - awareness and adaptability in response to feedback and changing priorities
  • Upholds a high standard of professionalism, reliability, and personal responsibility

  • Candidates are required to pass a drug test before beginning employment.

Responsibilities

  • Processing and sending formal appeal responses to Providers / Clients
  • Assist with entering outbound mail tracking numbers
  • Processing and sending Provider Packets when needed
  • Other duties as assigned
