About The Position
Gym+Coffee is an Irish athleisure brand looking for an Apparel Graphic Designer. This role focuses specifically on apparel graphics and print placement, requiring a strong point of view and attention to detail. The designer will be responsible for creating graphic concepts and artwork for seasonal apparel drops, ensuring proper print placement and sizing across various garment styles and fits. They will also prepare artwork for production, including print-ready files and colorways, and may occasionally work on repeat or surface patterns. A key aspect of the role is maintaining a consistent visual thread and design language across collections.
Requirements
- A portfolio that demonstrates an ability to design for apparel, including an understanding of placement, scale, composition and how graphics translate onto product.
- Comfortable creating production-ready artwork and working across the tools and technologies required to bring concepts through to execution.
- A strong eye for product and range building, with an understanding of how individual pieces fit together into a cohesive collection.
- Able to take a creative direction or brief and develop it independently, bringing ideas, options and solutions rather than requiring detailed guidance throughout the process.
