About The Position

While working as an Apparel Decoration Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining Direct-to-Film heat press equipment to create high-quality branded products. This role involves setting up the machine, preparing materials, monitoring the production process, and ensuring the finished product meets quality standards.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
2+ years of experience operating and machines
Familiarity with different types of fabrics and decoration methods
Basic computer skills for inputting data
Ability to pass a background check
Ability to write effective correspondence to customers and coworkers
Vision abilities required by this job include being able to see clearly at 20 inches or less, distinguish colors, and adjust focus
Ability to troubleshoot and solve minor technical issues
Strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

Set up and operate machines according to specifications, load and unload materials, and adjust settings as needed.
Monitor the production process to ensure high-quality output, inspect finished products for accuracy, completeness, and defects, and make necessary adjustments to correct any issues.
Perform routine maintenance on machines, troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues, and report major machine problems to the supervisor for repair.
Work closely with the design team to ensure the correct implementation of designs and collaborate with other production team members to meet production deadlines.
