Requirements

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate Board Certified
• Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa

Nice To Haves

• Previous EPIC experience preferred

Responsibilities

• .6 FTE Schedule: Fridays and 3 out of every 4 Weekend Shifts 8am-8pm Friday, 8am-4pm Saturday and Sunday
• One holiday per year commitment
• Team of 5 providers (2 working per shift)
• Established practice serving the Des Moines community
• Southglen Urgent Care is home location, but may float to other sites as needed within the urgent care service line
• Opportunity to practice outpatient medicine in an established and well-known clinic
• Cohesive group of colleagues and supportive staff allowing for autonomy while building the practice according to your preferences
• Experienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical, who know the patients and the community
• Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination
