About The Position

In collaboration with the physician(s), assists in all aspects of inpatient/outpatient cardiac procedural care. Maintains expertise in area of practice and applies advanced clinical skills to care for this select patient population. Incorporates advances in technology and procedures into skill set, remains current in practice of general cardiology. Assists in the evaluation of outcomes and adjustment of practices to ensure optimum delivery of care in a cost-effective manner. Facilitates the coordination and the communication of patient care needs across the health care continuum.

Requirements

• Board certified and credentialed as an Advanced Practice Nurse in the State of New Jersey.
• Primary focus of education and training as a Family Nurse Practitioner, Adult Nurse Practitioner, Adult Geriatric Nurse Practitioner, or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical practice experience in related field.
• Evidence of excellent interpersonal skills.
• Evidence of effective communication skills.
• Evidence of creative problem solving.

• Participation in pertinent professional and/or specialty organizations preferred.
