The Worldwide Developer Relations team is looking for a motivated App Store Review Specialist that demonstrates critical thinking, integrity and acute attention to detail. Your focus will be qualifying third-party applications to ensure safety for app users and a place for developers to thrive. Our work fuels the user and developer experiences across all Apple platforms globally. The guiding principle of the App Store is simple — we want to provide a safe experience for users to get apps and a great opportunity for all developers to be successful.

Requirements

  • Language proficiency in English and one of the listed: Chinese / Vietnamese, as this role will frequently be supporting language-specific apps.
  • Able to commit to weekly Sundays through Thursdays
  • Experience with content review or similar environment.
  • Ability to identify changes to apps between submissions, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent judgment and integrity, with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
  • Ability to work quickly and proficiently under tight timelines, while prioritizing a full workload and delivering exceptional quality.
  • Comfortable reviewing a consistently high volume of apps daily.
  • Passionate about providing outstanding customer service, and having a positive attitude that is upbeat, adaptable, and results oriented.
  • Excellent writing and interpersonal skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of Apple platforms, and being committed to our vision to support the developer community.

Responsibilities

  • Understand, support, and improve the App Review process.
  • Determine whether apps are reliable, perform as expected, and are free of offensive material.
  • Screen every app assigned based on a set of technical, content, and design criteria.
  • Quickly scan app concepts and identify recent app updates changes to assess app complexity.
  • Work independently and as part of a team, and remain flexible to the needs of the business.
  • Communicate clearly and provide regular feedback to developers.
  • Collaborate with team members and share suggestions on business and process improvements.
